Elections 7th May

On Thursday 7th May, the voters of Spelthorne will elect councillors for the new West Surrey local authority. There are seven wards, each with two councillors. This is your chance to vote for Labour candidates who will work with the Labour government to produce positive outcomes for the people of Spelthorne.

For over thirty years Sean has represented working people at Heathrow Airport. He has brought the same tenacity and experience to fighting for the residents of Ashford North and Stanwell South.

If elected to the new council in May there can be no doubt Sean will continue to campaign for investment , jobs and respect for everyone in Stanwell, Stanwell Moor & North Ashford.

Rebecca Geach

Rebecca is passionate about improving the lives of people in this area. During her time as a Spelthorne councillor Rebecca has fought for residents suffering the impact of nuisances HMOs. She has diligently supported tenants who have been left in disgraceful living conditions by negligent landlords both private & A2 Dominion

Rebecca has never been afraid to challenge authorities when residents have been let down and she is always a real champion for her voters.

Staines South and Ashford West

Tony Burrell

Tony is Chair of Spelthorne's Design Code project, helping to encourage better designed buildings against increasing new property demand in our Borough. He is Spelthorne's representative on The River Thames Scheme hoping to prevent flooding and take away some of the flood risk for anxious residents.

He believes green issues are essential both financially and environmentally. A very important part of his day is attempting to help residents with case work by email or in surgery.

Jared Kidd

As a lifelong local resident, Jared is passionate about fighting for the needs of his community. Jared believes that power should be shared and that communities should have a real stake in the decisions that shape their lives & that the only politics worth defending is the one that delivers for communities and people on the ground.

Jared will focus on protecting neighbourhoods and everyday services because pride in our communities is not cosmetic, it is essential.
